On behalf of the Chadian Community of London, I extend my greetings to our brothers and sisters of the African community and especially Chadian communit, to all men, women of good will, and especially to all those who are infected HIV.
Today on 1 December 2009 is a World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day is a unique moment when all of humanity is encouraged to reflect on how HIV and AIDS affects us and how we can respond to this pandemic.
The incurable disease was discovered 27 years ago but until now many Chadians do not understand how to prevent this disease which is active in our society.
I take this day of international HIV and AIDS, to make a solemn appeal to the Chadian Government, the international community to encourage young people so they will be cautious of this deadly virus. We urge the international community to fulfill their promises of "Stop AIDS.
In solidarity with people living with HIV and AIDS.
